Sound Hero

Sound Hero is a mobile app that turns speech and sound development into a fun, story-driven experience for children. What started as a way to help my son with his speech delay grew into a full experiment in playful, child-centred learning. Each adventure focuses on a different learning style — from listening quests to sound exploration — allowing children to build skills at their own pace through engaging challenges and responsive feedback.

My goal with Sound Hero is simple: to help kids grow their confidence while giving parents a tool that feels joyful, not stressful. It’s still experimental, but built with purpose — an app designed to support real-world development through imaginative play.
